Albert Bierstadt A Storm in the Rocky Mountains - Hand-Painted Oil Painting Reproduction
Be the first to share your experience with this painting.
I hand-paint an oil on canvas reproduction of A Storm in the Rocky Mountains after Albert Bierstadt.
This is a hand-painted oil painting on canvas, not a print. Each reproduction is individually painted for your order, with natural variations in brushwork, color, and paint texture.
Dark clouds sweep across a mountain valley, with shafts of pale light catching distant slopes and water below. Small figures and animals occupy the lower landscape, while deep green trees and shadowed rock faces frame the bright opening at the center.
- Made to order: I paint a new canvas for your order. Painting usually takes 7–15 business days, depending on the selected size.
- Size & delivery: Choose an available canvas size. Supplied unframed and shipped rolled in a protective tube. Frames and room settings shown are display examples.
- Standard shipping: Free for eligible rolled-canvas orders, with estimated transit of 10–15 business days after dispatch.
- Express shipping: Available to eligible destinations for an additional fee, with estimated transit of 3–5 business days after dispatch. Express shipping does not shorten the painting time. Delivery estimates are not guaranteed arrival dates.

Frequently Asked Questions About Our Oil Paintings
Helpful information about how RomKart paintings are created, production time, reproductions, packaging, and order support.
Are the paintings actually hand-painted?
Yes. RomKart paintings are individually hand-painted in oil on canvas. They are not printed reproductions. Each piece is created with real oil paint using traditional painting techniques.
How close will a reproduction be to the original artwork?
I carefully recreate the composition, colors, atmosphere, and important details of the reference artwork. Because every painting is created by hand, small natural variations may occur, making each piece unique.
When will you start painting my order?
Most RomKart paintings are made to order. Painting begins after the order is confirmed. For custom portraits, I can prepare a composition or preview for you to review before painting begins.
How long does it take to complete a painting?
Painting time is normally approximately 7–15 business days, depending on the selected size, subject, complexity, and level of detail. Shipping time is separate from production time.
Will my painting arrive framed and ready to hang?
Unless the product page states otherwise, paintings are supplied unframed and rolled. The canvas is carefully protected and shipped in a sturdy protective tube for safe international delivery.
What if there is a problem with my order?
If your painting arrives damaged, defective, incorrect, or materially different from your order, please contact me with photos of the issue. I will review the situation and provide an appropriate solution in accordance with the RomKart Return & Refund Policy.
